Welcome to Who Wants a Lawbotomy?   This game is played very much like the popular TV quiz show, Who Wants to be a Millionaire? (although we will vehemently deny it if we get a call from the show's producers).

Each Monday, we will introduce a new quiz.  At the start of each quiz, you will be presented with a multiple choice question.  You will have 20 seconds to answer the question.  If you answer the question correctly, you will move on to the next question.  If you successfully answer all questions, you will earn a chance to win a free copy of If It Does Not Fit, Must You Acquit?.

To help you out on the tough ones, we've given you a "Law Line."  When you use your Law Line on a question, two of the false answers will be removed.  As a result, you will have a 50-50 chance of answering the question correctly.  However, you only get one Law Line, so use it judiciously.

Also, to make the contest fair for the non-lawyers who visit this site, there are two quizzes -- the Lawyer's Quiz and the Layperson's Quiz.  The former quiz is for lawyers, judges, professors, law clerks, law students and basically anyone crazy enough to enter this profession in the first place.  The latter quiz is for laypersons (i.e., people who regularly get laid because they're not slaving away 90 hours per week).  The difference between the two quizzes is that the Lawyer's Quiz contains an additional five questions.
